Four, in two bedrooms. The master has a king-size zip-and-link bed; the second bedroom has twin zip-and-link beds that can be made up as a super-king. A travel cot and highchair are provided for babies and toddlers.

One small dog is welcome. The pebbled garden is fully enclosed and safe for dogs, and Camber Sands allows dogs all year, with zoning from 1 May to 30 September. See the dog walks guide for the rules and the best walks.

The cottage is in Camber village, a short walk from the dunes and the sand. The village shop and pub are also within walking distance.

Yes. There is a garage at the rear, which is also ideal for storing buggies, bikes, surfboards and kite kit, with further parking at the front and rear of the property. Please note electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the property. If you drive an EV, find the nearest public charging point before you arrive.

Yes. The garage keeps boards, kites, bikes and buggies dry and out of the way, and the combined washer dryer handles wetsuits and sandy clothes. The kite zone and the hire shops are a short distance from the door.

Yes. Complimentary fibre high speed Wi-Fi (50+ Mbps). Details are supplied within the property.

Bed linen, towels and a welcome pack for all guests listed on the booking, plus a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, hoover, dishwasher tablets and kitchen essentials. Please make sure guest details are correct on your booking so the right linen is provided.

A south-facing decking area with outdoor seating, a parasol and a BBQ, and below it a fully enclosed pebbled garden with rattan sofas.

Both bedrooms and the family bathroom are upstairs; there is a cloakroom WC downstairs. If stairs are a concern, please ask the booking team before reserving. Our easy-going guide covers the flattest and most accessible days out nearby.

Not necessarily. Stagecoach bus 102 links Camber and Rye in 15 to 20 minutes, roughly hourly, and Rye station connects to Ashford International (about 25 minutes) for London St Pancras in 37 minutes. The beach, pub and shop are walkable, and National Cycle Route 2 runs through the village.

RNLI lifeguards patrol the central beach daily from early May to late September, roughly 10am to 6pm (Camber West from late May). Swim between the red and yellow flags, never at the harbour mouth, and check the tide.

Rye is four miles away; Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Camber Castle, Winchelsea, Dungeness, the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, Bodiam Castle and Hastings Old Town are all within forty minutes. See things to do and what’s on.
